We are to put our hope in God. When we have hope in God, we must know that He always wants what is best for us. When we have hope in God, we must also trust that His will, not our will, be done. It is only through Him that we can always have HOPE.
"Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my HOPE is in you all day long." (Psalms 25:4-5)
