Lovingkindness is Everlasting

"Give thanks to the Lord of lords,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
To Him who alone does great wonders,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting;
To Him who made the heavens with skill,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting;
To Him who spread out the earth above the waters,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting;
To Him who made the great lights,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting:
The sun to rule by day,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
The moon and stars to rule by night,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
To Him who smote the Egyptians in their firstborn,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
And brought Israel out from their midst,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
With a strong hand and an outstretched arm,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
To Him who divided the Red Sea asunder,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
And made Israel pass through the midst of it,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting;
But He overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting."

Psalm 119:145-152

 I call with all my heart; answer me, LORD,
and I will obey your decrees.

 I call out to you; save me
and I will keep your statutes.

I rise before dawn and cry for help;
I have put my hope in your word.

My eyes stay open through the watches of the night,
that I may meditate on your promises.

Hear my voice in accordance with your love;
preserve my life, LORD, according to your laws.

Those who devise wicked schemes are near,
but they are far from your law.

Yet you are near, LORD,
and all your commands are true.

Long ago I learned from your statutes
that you established them to last forever.

Prayer of Guidance

O Lord our God, under the shadow of Thy wings let us hope.
Thou wilt support us, both when little and even to gray hairs.
When our strength is of Thee, it is strength
 but, when our own, it is feebleness
 We return unto Thee,
O Lord, that from their weariness our soul may rise towards Thee
leaning on the thing which Thou has created
 and passing on to Thyself
who hast wonderfully made them
for with Thee is refreshment and true strength
Amen

be steadfast, immovable, always abounding . . .

"Behold, I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruptibility, and this mortal must put on immortality.

But when this corruptible will have put on the incorruptible, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written,

‘Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?’

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord."

A Beautiful Thought

“Losers always have an excuse – winners always have an idea

Losers fix the blame – winners fix the situation

Losers make promises – winners keep commitments

Losers let it happen – winners make it happen

Losers say, ‘Why don't they do something?’

    – Winners say, ‘ Here's something I can do."

“The best thing to give to your enemy is forgiveness

to an opponent, tolerance

to a friend, your heart

to your child, a good example

 to a father, deference

to your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you

 to yourself, respect

to all men, charity."

- Benjamin Franklin

Plan for Success

Most people fail in life because they fail to plan.

They have no daily goals…

they have no daily plan…

and thus, they have no goal nor plan for their life.

Life just comes and goes

and they end up going nowhere in life.

 The saddest thing is that most people

 spend more time planning their vacations

 than they do for their lives!
